A new art book that focuses on women in music has started a Kickstarter to raise funds for the project.
The art project, All Together Now, was devised by photographer Audra Marie Dewitt and is a collection of photographs and first person narratives from a variety of women in the music industry.
Dewitt needs $7,800 to get the book, printed, pay her staff and finish the project. At the time of going to press Dewitt had raised just over $2,000 with 34 days to go.
All Together Now features artists such as Corin Tucker, Exene Cervenka, Amanda Palmer and Peaches.
